Ah, a nip is in the air

I am still working on the baby blanket for Hillary's little girl who makes her debut in January. I have all of Elizabeth's (my friend Heather's daughter) baby sweater all finished. I just need to sew in the ends and then sew it together. It shouldn't be too much longer. I knit before and after work and then when I get home from picking Aly up from school.

I am trying to think of what I am going to do for Christmas presents this year. I could do Mom G some dishclothes but seeing as Jeremy does the dishes she'd give them to him, hmm...not a good deal. I might make Mom and Dad S some scarves, that won't work for Mom and Dad G since they're in FL for hte winter, and it's warm down there. I am going to get some Ultra Silk from Berroco while I'm down there, unless I get Microspun while I"m still here and do a wrap for myself for hte plane. IT shouldnt' take me TOO long to get a shawl done. I have layovers in two airports, so we'll see. I will probably just pack my knitting in my suitcase but we'll see.

Scarf Progress and other knitting updates

I am almost done with my next door neighbor's scarf. I should have it done within the next five mintues. I"m sitting at my computer desk, watching tv, knititng and surfing the net. Go figure, but that's how I unwind on my days off.

Okay I just bound off the scarf. Now I just need to sew in the ends and the yarn where I joined another skein of wool yarn and it's ready for linda to wear this winter. I'll post a picture later.

Now I can work on Heather's baby sweater for Elizabeth and not feel too guilty that I'm not working on the scarf. I also need to work on my brother's blanket. That's gonna be fun. I will probably take that with me to FL to work on at the airports during my layovers. But we'll see.
